Hand engraved drinking horn with silver flake and resin inlay and hand made and carved leather belt-loop holder.

This hand crafted item is produced from Scottish Highland cattle horn and 9oz vegetable tanned leather. The horn is engraved with two bands around the top and a simple design, and inlaid with resin mixed with real silver flake.Cured with traditional methods, it is ready to use though it is recommended that you wash it before use. The rich colours and depth in the glassy surface make a truly beautiful drinking horn. Have the piece on display or use it to drink to the Gods! The leather holder is very sturdy and has been bespoke fitted to the curve of thisparticular horn. It has been hand riveted, hand carved with a geometric design and sewn together with waxed cord. You won't find a stronger holder elsewhere.

Cleaning instructions: Warm, soapy water and gentle bottle brush. Should the horn begin to look dull or dry, polishing with a beeswax or mineral oil should return the original shine and health.
